An Eternal Embrace

Archaeologists in Italy have discovered a couple buried 5,000 to 6,000 years ago, hugging each other. A pair of human skeletons lie in an eternal embrace at an Neolithic archaeological dig site near Mantova, Italy.

Reuters - More Info ...

I wonder -

Are these
Archaeologists planning to keep their eternal embrace intact?

Will they bury the excavation or will imprison the couple in some museum?

It really sucks, when the finer attributes and essential ingredients of human gratification are destroyed in the name of discovery, invention, technology, exploration and too much of civilization.

Even as skeleton, their eyes fixed and longing, arms around in embrace and legs bound for warmth.....this is the eternal love

U IN ME

ME IN U

FOR EVER

EVERYWHERE,

  1. Wish the Archaeologists won't separate them and destroy the skeleton.

  7. Priya - Yes. In the name of all the research and study that we destroy the values. It's like dissecting a flower. What do we gain by doing that? Reminded of an incident from Picasso's life!

  8. @shiva,
What do we gain by doing that?-

Its all about history and the facts they wanna know. Like what we study/studied our history/thoughts/theory centuries back, these can be in the books for further study in the future.

Why don't you take off that word verification?? Many people have it and its more like an eye exam...

  10. Priya - Let me tell the incident I was refering to. Picasso was giving the final touches to one of his painting and a man stopped by and asked, " What is the meaning of this painting". He got so furious that, he dragged that man to a rose bush, and told him, "Ask these folwers the meaning of their existence". With the so called scientific mind, we would have dissected the flower to find it's meaning, only to be left with the dead rose. I feel the same way, when such actions are done on beautiful things.

Word verification - Agreed and done.
