Though my last year's post on the Women's day (Women's Day, A joke) focussed on the maladies of the unempowered women of India, this year I have decided to post on the ever empowered womanhood.


Woman is the radiance of God, she is not just a beloved.
She is the Creator. Rejoice in your womanhood.

    Nice to see men taking this day seriously. Most of the ones I met yesterday either ignored it with silence or brushed it off as a joke. Thrs a guy who fwd-ed around a bunch of anti-women jokes marking the 'special day'.

    Hi Shiv,

    That was a wonderful post (especially the pictures that included the common woman too).

    Yesterday we celebrated Women's day in office and most of us felt that we were able to come to work and stay for long hours, only due to the understanding men in our lives - fathers, husbands and little uncomplaining sons...out there...

    Thanks for being a nice husband...
    and thanks to Pranav for being an undemanding child..
